One of my favorite artistic creations, I wanted to show an owl in flight and base it on an owl native to Scotland.

One of my favorite artistic creations. I used analogous colored key pattern to create the ‘texture’ of the fox’s fur. In addition to Celtic design, I also have a great interest in heraldic art and I enjoy experimenting with combining the two together. So this fox follows Celtic design style with its position based on heraldry.

Inspired for Christmas, I used the three main colors associated with Christmas: red, white, and green along with a wave pattern to create the reindeer’s fur.

Created as an experiment in combining snake-boss with interlace to represent the four directions. The center circle (boss) represents a nest with eggs and the snakes are winding their way outwards.
